The Covid-19 pandemic placed a spotlight on numerous ongoing public health crises, including violence within the home. At the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, many states were forced to implement stay-at-home orders that were intended to protect the public and prevent widespread infection. However, many domestic abuse and intimate partner victims were left trapped with their abusers. In turn, many states saw an increase in the number of victims in need of emergency housing and supportive services.
At The Pretty Girl Foundation, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2020, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: support, empowerment, and progress.
